The moated castle of Hülsede, located in the valley between Deister and Süntel, was built between 1529 and 1548 as a four-winged complex. It is a typical example of an early Renaissance building in the Weser region. The outstanding art-historical value of the castle lies in the original preserved building substance of the 16th century.
The moated castle and the farm buildings are listed and have been extensively restored in the last thirty years. The entire facility and its associated agriculture has been in the family for over 400 years.
Whether corporate events, family celebrations, seminars, receptions or cultural events – the moated castle Hülsede offers you the right setting for every occasion. Our stylish halls and rooms in the historic castle and the neighboring courtyard buildings are ideally suited for groups of 20 to 1200 guests.
Four large halls, an original preserved castle kitchen, the vaulted cellar, the idyllic inner courtyard, the courtyard buildings and an extensive park offer the most diverse possibilities for your very individual event.
