The manor house, surrounded by old trees in the park and a wide moat, fascinates with its well-preserved quarry stone masonry, which is replaced in the upper part by plastered half-timbering.

The core of the historic manor dates back to the end of the 12th century and has been family-owned since 1743. The steward’s house from 1865 serves today as the “Lower Saxony Representative Office” of our Freiherr Langwerth von Simmern winery in Eltville.
The premises of the Rittergut are available for festivities such as weddings, family celebrations, company parties and individual trade fairs and we look forward to making your event an unforgettable experience.

The entire manor in detail
The stylishly restored granary offers 60 to 160 people a prestigious setting for lavish celebrations as well as wine and dining pleasures on around 300 square meters. Outside, the adjacent castle park and the 150 square meter terrace can also be used.
In addition, the granary also offers space for about 250 people in the context of concerts, art exhibitions or theater performances. The granary has underfloor heating.
Meetings can also be organized in the premises according to requirements. For larger events we erect professional tents in the castle park.
Both locations offer space for family celebrations for up to 60 people, in summer also on the adjacent terrace. Underfloor heating allows use regardless of weather conditions.
Toast with Rheingau sparkling wine, Riesling and Burgundy wines from world-famous sites of the Freiherr Langwerth von Simmern winery. We will be happy to advise you on individual requests.
